OUR STORY

#New website ideas.png

The CATENSA industrial group was created in Barcelona in 1975 , quickly establishing itself as a leader in the manufacture of felt and textile materials for the automotive industry.

In the late 1980s , with consolidated production capacity in Spain, the CATENSA group established manufacturing operations subsidiaries in the UK and France.

CATENSA UK was founded in 1987 in Langar, Nottinghamshire. The company's main activity was the manufacture and marketing of phenolic and epoxy felts.

Between 1991 and 1995 , several sites were established under the name CATENSA France , in the Mazamet basin (Tarn)

The CATENSA group was then acquired in 2007 by the Italian industrial organisation Maurizie Peruzzo and became IMP UK/FRANCE Ltd.

In 2016 , IMP UK was subsequently acquired by the Lacus Felt Group

With 50 years of experience, Lacus Felt has begun a diversification process to consolidate its positioning
