White goods

Lacus Felt provides various NVH felt (Noise vibration harshness) compositions that can be used within the white goods industry. Lacus felts can be sound within some house hold kitchen appliances such as dishwashers, fridge freezers and washing machines. These felts offer great acoustic performance while helping minimise vibration.

Fulled-Cured

​Felts bonded by cured resin (mainly sound damping applications) roll, bale or die-cut pieces with optional scrim and/or other adhesive)

Fibre reinforced Thermoplastic

Fibre reinforced thermoplastic (mainly sound damping applications which can come in roll, bale or die-cut format with optional scrim and/or adhesive)

Fibre reinforced Thermoplastic with Epoxy resin

Fibre reinforced thermoplastic with additional epoxy resin binder (mainly sound damping applications which can come in roll, bale or die-cut format with optional scrim and/or adhesive)

Needlepunch Felt

Felt made of textile fibres and thermoplastic needle punched fibres, optional with nonwoven. Raw material for parts shaped in a cold mould after heating.

Die-cut

Felts produced have the option to be adhesive coated and/or die-cut into requested shapes stipulated by the customer. Each die-cut part will require a bespoke tool to be made to allow cutting.
